I’ve been trying to add functionality for posit’s querychat package in my shiny app that uses fluent as the UI but I am struggling. The UI does show and I can get this to show in a shiny.fluent Panel - I decided against that as I was worried the panel open and closure might kill the session with an LLM. I opted for the UI to be placed underneath my existing data table using querychat_ui() but I’m wondering if there would be some interference? I know the querychat_sidebar uses bslib and remember there being issues with bslib and shiny.fluent. Is there anyone who could enlighten how these could work together? I was thinking maybe shiny.react but can’t see the path forward.
To be clear - I have added a browser() call while running the app, after the data loads to the querychat$chat and it is able to see the data, it has been defined correctly, and if I run elmer::live_console(querychat$chat) in the browser console, I am able to get responses about the data frame. I just can’t get it on the live app.
Thanks!
