Cannot reproduce with uBO Lite on Chromium web browser.
Also, you left a comment at #96 (comment) saying you use AdGuard Browser Extension. However, it is not.

The behavior occurs with either uBlock or AdBlock extensions. I was trying uBlock when you asked for a screenshot.

Try visiting https://sports.yahoo.com/ and give it ~15 seconds.

Same - cannot reproduce. Please try to disable your Control D DNS server and use Cloudflare DNS, Quad9, AdGuard DNS server, etc.
