Hello.
This issue is not a bug report. I am only sharing some screenshots of a personal RTKBase customization I made for my own field use.
My goal was to adapt the web interface to make it more practical on a mobile phone and more suitable for the workflow I use with a GNSS base station, PPP/IBGE, GEO/UTM coordinates, Wi-Fi and daily equipment operation.
I am not sending files or code at this moment. The idea is only to show the visual and functional concept of the customizations.
What the screenshots show
1. Status page
On the Status page, I made a visual adjustment to better highlight the total number of satellites and the number by constellation:
- GPS
- GLONASS
- Galileo
- BeiDou
The intention was to make it easier to quickly read the reception quality in the field.
2. Settings page
On the Settings page, I customized the Fixed Coordinate Base section.
The base coordinate was organized into separate fields:
- GEO row;
- UTM row;
- latitude;
- longitude;
- height;
- DD / DMS format;
- UTM Northing;
- UTM Easting;
- zone / central meridian;
- hemisphere.
I also added conversions between GEO/UTM and DD/DMS, with zone and hemisphere selection.
3. Paste Coord
I added a Paste Coord button to paste coordinates copied from the Status page in the format:
latitude longitude height
The system distributes these values into the separated Settings fields, recalculates the UTM fields and keeps the user reviewing the data before saving.
4. PPP / IBGE import
I also added an Import PPP function to import a PDF report from the IBGE PPP service, used in Brazil for GNSS post-processing.
The function reads the report, shows a preview of the detected data and allows applying the coordinates to the fixed base fields.
The preview shows information such as:
- latitude;
- longitude;
- height;
- UTM Northing;
- UTM Easting;
- zone;
- central meridian;
- hemisphere;
- datum;
- source of the data read from the report.
5. Height and phase center
In the PPP import workflow, I added a step to choose which height will be used:
- geometric / ellipsoidal;
- normal / orthometric;
- manual.
There is also an option to add the height to the phase center when needed.
6. Save safety
Even after importing or pasting coordinates, RTKBase does not save automatically.
The customization only fills the fields and keeps the manual workflow:
- review the coordinates;
- click Save only when everything is correct.
The original position field format was preserved as:
latitude longitude height
7. Interface shortcuts
I also added some useful shortcuts to the interface for my workflow, such as:
8. Wi-Fi Manager
The screenshots also show a simple Wi-Fi configuration interface, with:
- list of available networks;
- Select button;
- SSID field;
- password field;
- show/hide password button;
- option to keep only the selected network;
- Connect button;
- Restart button.
9. Timer
I also made a simple shutdown scheduling page, with:
- time;
- weekdays;
- buttons to save, remove, reload and exit.
10. Logs / RINEX / PPP
On the Logs page, I customized the raw file to RINEX conversion with practical presets, including a PPP (IBGE) option.
The intention was to make it easier to generate files compatible with the IBGE PPP service, used in Brazil for GNSS post-processing.
I also added a direct link to the PPP/IBGE service page to make the workflow easier.
General goal
These customizations were made for my personal use, with focus on:
- field operation;
- mobile phone use;
- quick reading of the base status;
- simpler coordinate configuration;
- integration with PPP/IBGE reports;
- quick access to Wi-Fi, timer and operation routines.
I am sharing the screenshots only as a demonstration of the idea.
If something in this workflow is interesting for the project, I can discuss with the developer the best way to organize, separate or adapt some of these improvements so that, if it makes sense, they can be implemented in RTKBase in the future.
My intention is not to misrepresent or diminish the original context of the RTKBase project. On the contrary, I consider RTKBase an excellent project.
These modifications were made only to adapt the interface to my practical field-use needs, especially considering GNSS operation, PPP/IBGE, mobile phone use, Wi-Fi and local workflows in Brazil.
