Welcome to Actions Runners.

Use this space for setup questions, fleet-design trade-offs, and behavior you are still trying to understand. Confirmed bugs belong in the issue form, and security reports must use private vulnerability reporting.

The fastest useful context to include is:

• macOS and Node versions;
• how many repositories and runners share the host;
• what GitHub reported;
• what launchd and the local process reported;
• the command or dashboard view that exposed the disagreement.

Want to contribute code? Start with an issue labeled good first issue. Each one names the relevant files, acceptance criteria, and test command.

The project is intentionally scoped to one Apple Silicon Mac serving trusted private repositories. Questions that test that boundary are welcome; cloud autoscaling and Kubernetes are better served by actions-runner-controller.
