Help with VDPdigitizer

I installed VDPdigitizer on an SMS PAL (late VDP) and the colors look strange when used in conjunction with OSSC (despite the installation being correct and following the pinout according to the wiki), could you please help me with this issue?

I don't think the OSSC already supports this flavor of lumacode. Your second picture shows a setting with "Coleco", which is the one for the Colecovision. According to this list, this is indeed the case: OSSC - Classic Console Upscaler Wiki <https://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php/OSSC#Lumacode> Maybe you can ask the developer of the OSSC to provide this. Just one more question, regarding the calibration function of the kit, could you explain in more detail how to calibrate the ADC?

I'm sorry, I didn't understand. I bought the product and want to use it with the OSSC, so the product isn't compatible with the OSSC? This should be written on the product page, because then I wouldn't have bought it. I'm having trouble getting the color right. I still don't understand the color adjustment logic. Is there a video showing how to do it? The master is Euro model 1.

Sorry for this misunderstanding. There are actually still a few lumacode variants that are not supported by the OSSC.

@marqs85 Is there a way that the OSSC can support the VDPdigitizer? The lumacode signal for this is actually super-easy. It is just the red, green and blue levels for each pixel one after the other. No need for a fancy palette.

Sure, support could be added in the next firmware version. It will take some time, though, since the fw for OSSC Classic is no more in active development.

There is no dedicated way to reset the setting values on the VDPdigitizer. But the factory default vallues are:
09, 16, 25
for all the 9 sub-pages.

I looks like you are very nearly there. I guess you only need to set the exact number of horiztonal pixels per line.
This settings can be found in
Line Multiplier Options ->
Adv. timing > 256x240LB
-> H samples : 342
-> Phase: 258 (at least this works for me now)
But this works only if you have already set the active "Line ?x mode" to 256x240
