Catthode

Catthode Icon

From CRT to OLED. Bringing warmth back to a world of cold themes. cattho.de

Catthode is a high-contrast, retro-futuristic VS Code theme designed for prolonged coding sessions. It blends the crushed blacks of modern OLED displays with the comforting, warm glow of analog tungsten filaments.

Local extension snapshot

installed-extensions.json records the active extensions in one desktop VS Code profile as captured on 2026-09-14. It includes IDs and installed versions without user settings or workspace data.

The Marketplace extensions in this snapshot are restored by the Catthode nix-darwin activation script through the installed VS Code CLI. jesbz.notemd is also captured, but it was installed from a local VSIX and is intentionally left out of that Marketplace-only restore set.
