From 2e9a6ebb111845804d643d3602121e7c7dc64c04 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Xgatt Date: Thu, 8 Oct 2026 09:21:06 -0700 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] treat a numbered "1) Yes" option list as a question Some mods prompt with a bare PRINT of numbered options followed by ACTION_READLN, like Bardic Wonders component 2009: Add 9th Level Mage Spells to Fighter / Mage / Bard HLAs? (Note: ...) 1) Yes 2) No None of those lines contains a choice word or phrase, so the prompt was never surfaced, stdin was never forwarded, and the install timed out. Adding that 1) yes gets it to work. --- src/config/parser_config.rs | 2 ++ 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+) diff --git a/src/config/parser_config.rs b/src/config/parser_config.rs index a424270..966da1d 100644 --- a/src/config/parser_config.rs +++ b/src/config/parser_config.rs @@ -57,6 +57,7 @@ impl Default for ParserConfig { "leave blank".to_string(), "[a]ccept, [r]etry, [c]ancel".to_string(), "[y]es, [n]o, [c]ancel".to_string(), + "1) yes".to_string(), ] .into_iter() .collect(), @@ -190,6 +191,7 @@ Example: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\BeamDog\\Games\\00806", "Please enter a new title for the selected kit (leave blank to keep current):", r#"accept kit title "354" ([a]ccept, [r]etry, [c]ancel)?"#, "There is no question, only bell\x07", + "1) Yes", ]; for test in tests { assert_eq!( From c57922dd9c52b6b2f41acca87742cbfe99bd26b8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Xgatt Date: Thu, 8 Oct 2026 14:11:27 -0700 Subject: [PATCH 2/2] Slightly better test --- src/config/parser_config.rs | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/src/config/parser_config.rs b/src/config/parser_config.rs index 966da1d..8522867 100644 --- a/src/config/parser_config.rs +++ b/src/config/parser_config.rs @@ -191,7 +191,7 @@ Example: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\BeamDog\\Games\\00806", "Please enter a new title for the selected kit (leave blank to keep current):", r#"accept kit title "354" ([a]ccept, [r]etry, [c]ancel)?"#, "There is no question, only bell\x07", - "1) Yes", + "Add 9th Level Mage Spells to Fighter / Mage / Bard HLAs?
