Allocate edge creation tool does not select the created edge

How to reproduce

1. Inside a GV, create two Part elements
2. Create an Allocate edge between those parts

Observed behavior

After the creation of an Allocate edge, this created edge is not selected as other edges.
The source element of the edge is selected instead.

Expected behavior

The new Allocate edge should be selected as it is the case for other edges.
