Welcome … to my website. I am a Professor of Statistics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

My research follows an application-oriented approach, focusing on real-world data problems that are both statistically challenging and practically relevant. My current methodological and theoretical interests include functional data analysis, nonparametric statistics, longitudinal data analysis, as well as simultaneous and causal inference. In addition, I am strongly committed to providing computational implementations of my work and regularly publish R packages on CRAN and GitHub to accompany my research papers.
