Are indented bullets supported?

I need a bullet point to have its own list of indented bullet points. I can't work out how to do that. Tried inserting spaces at the start of a line and then inputting - but it doesn't turn into the bullet dot.

Also I noticed that conversion from an asterisk * to bullet also doesn't work.

Maybe that could be improved. Thanks in advance.

Yes, since 1.1.0: two or more spaces before - or * make an indented sub-bullet, while typing and when pasting Markdown. Closing as answered.

Thanks for that! Would it be possible to get buttons in the UI to change the indent-level? That would probably help with discoverability to prevent further questions as well. Tab and Shift+Tab would be nice as hotkeys but I assume that is more difficult.

I find editing like this in the WYSIWYG a bit confusing, so an alternative idea would be to have some way to edit the raw markdown and have it only render afterwards.

Yes, nested bulleting is very, very hard today. It needs at least the two buttons << and >> to decrease and increase bullet indentation/level.

Indent and outdent are in 1.2.8, out now: Tab / Shift+Tab while editing, plus Indent / Outdent buttons in the Typography panel.
