AppJars is a family of production-ready modules for enterprise Java applications, built on Spring Boot and Vaadin. Each one covers a functional area you would otherwise build from scratch — users and permissions, configuration, translations, email, activity logging, reporting, background jobs, AI support — and drops into your own application as a Maven dependency.

Eleven AppJars are available today: Activity Log, AI Support, Configuration Manager, Data Query, Dynamic Menu, Email Manager, I18N Manager, Issue Tracker, Process Manager, User Manager and User Profile.

Try it without buying anything

Every AppJar runs free of charge in free mode, and it is not a trial that expires. Free mode restricts how much you can run through an AppJar, and holds some capabilities back for a licensed installation — the specifics vary per AppJar and are documented here. There is a Q&A thread on this if you want the detail.

Each AppJar also has a public demo — a runnable app with sample data, so you can see what it does before committing to anything. Demos are open source, under Apache 2.0.

• Bugs and feature requests → AppJars/appjars. Free and paid users report in the same tracker, under the same rules. Fixing defects is part of the product, not a paid service.
• Questions, ideas, anything else → right here in Discussions.
• Help with your own application → the customer portal, included with Startup and Enterprise.
• Security vulnerabilities → security@appjars.com, never in public.
