No. Ordinary business-source edits should not change all of these runtime assets.

The visible docx.worker.js, pptx.worker.js, PDF decoder scripts and flyfish-viewer-assets.json are generated by copyAssets. I checked the published 3.2.2 plugin: copying runs at dev-server startup/restart and production build, not ordinary HMR. Some copy paths overwrite identical files, and the manifest's copiedAt timestamp changes on each copy. That is unnecessary churn in our implementation, but timestamp-only touches should not create Git content diffs for every worker.

The apps/web-antd/dummy-non-existing-dir/... destination appears consistent with a custom Vite publicDir. Could you share the exact File Viewer/Vite versions, your fileViewerRenderers and publicDir configuration, and one generated worker's git diff with private details removed? This will distinguish a server-restart loop from actual asset-content changes. Ignoring all changes or disabling workers is not the fix; your business-source changes should be kept separate.

i found fileViewerRenderers({ copyAssets: true }) in this config.

fileViewerRenderers({ copyAssets: true }) is correct; keep it enabled. The fix is now available in @file-viewer/vite-plugin@3.2.3:

npm install -D @file-viewer/vite-plugin@3.2.3

Unchanged assets are no longer rewritten, and the volatile manifest timestamp is removed. HMR, restarts and production Worker/WASM checks passed. If worker contents still change after upgrading, please share your package versions and one sanitized git diff.
