I just saw in the new 1.12.0 update that Obsidian has a new CLI interface tool that they mention will be good for integrating with other apps and tools. I wonder if we would be able to integrate those commands in obsidian.nvim. I played with Obsidian CLI a little bit and it seems to be using obsidians internal cache and as a result is lightning fast.

yes! I have not being able to getting working on my machine yet, since it have some issue registering the cli on nixos

but a brief skim at the docs, some quick ideas

1. free bases functionality: I see https://help.obsidian.md/cli#%60base+query%60 we can just query the bases and output json, that is just querying for free, super cool
2. activate sync for those who have obsidian sync https://help.obsidian.md/cli#Sync
3. open graph view https://help.obsidian.md/cli#%60command%60

yeah im struggling to get it registered on EndeavourOS rn but i got it working on my mac and its pretty slick.

the only downside i see rn is the gui app needs to be started somewhere as the CLI is acting kinda as a remote control to tell the gui to do stuff like querying the vault and reading out files etc. but i already do that anyway for Obsidian Sync so its not a big deal in my case.
