Restructure gulp to use `.pipeline()` rather than `.pipe()`

See for instance premail/premail#29, luckily our gulp tasks are much simpler.

In the process we can (and will probably have to) use gulp-tap to integrate npm packages directly, rather than using all the silly gulp-wrapper libs (gulp-clean-css, gulp-imagemin, etc)
