Why it is impossible to follow step by step learn wgpu tutorials?

Why it is impossible to follow step by step learn wgpu tutorials?
I like the github repository - source code is working ! But web tutorials are hard to follow.
I followed first tutorial and on the second one I do not even where to start, the code is poured in really large chunks.

Only first two examples works on web other ones only locally. I could not configure none of the later examples to run on web.
