[BUG] topology: Missing Machine Driver for Wildcat Lake Dell XPS 13 (CS42L43 on SDW + Dual CS35L56 on SPI)

Describe the bug
On the Wildcat Lake Dell XPS 13, the audio routing uses a split-bus configuration: the main codec (CS42L43) is wired via SoundWire, while the woofer smart amplifiers (dual CS35L56) are wired via SPI.

During boot, the sof-audio-pci-intel-ptl driver fails to find a matching machine driver for this specific ACPI configuration. It drops the SPI amplifiers and falls back to a generic fallback topology (sof-sdca-1amp-id2.tplg). Because of this, only the SoundWire tweeters are initialized. The woofers remain dead, resulting in completely tinny audio.

I have checked alsamixer and only the digital speaker channels are exposed. Checking /sys/bus/soundwire/devices/ confirms that only the CS42L43 codec is present on the SoundWire bus.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Boot CachyOS on a Panther Lake Dell XPS 13.
2. Play any audio file or run speaker-test -Dhw:0,0 -c2 -r48000 -f S16_LE.
3. Observe that audio only plays through the two tweeters with zero bass response.
4. Run dmesg | grep -iE "sof|soundwire|cs42|cs35" and observe the missing machine driver error.

Reproduction Rate
All the time (100% on every boot).

Expected behavior
The SOF driver should recognize the Wildcat Lake XPS 13 ACPI configuration, correctly bridge both the SoundWire codec and the SPI amplifiers, load a proper multi-speaker topology, and output audio across all four internal speakers.

Impact
Showstopper for built-in audio (the internal speakers are unusable due to the total lack of lower/mid frequencies).

I am seeing the same on my Wildcat Lake XPS 13.

Audio works - but sounds like its only coming from the tweeters and very tinny in presentation.

So i dug into this with Claude:

Hardware: Dell XPS 13 DX13260 (Intel Wildcat Lake, sof-audio-pci-intel-ptl). Audio = CS42L43 codec on SoundWire link 2 (mfg_id 0x01fa part_id 0x4243 v3) + 2× CS35L63 speaker amps.

Symptom: Audio plays but is thin/tinny — only the CS42L43's weak internal Class-D amp is driven; the two external CS35L63 amps are never engaged.

Root cause: The two CS35L63 amps are SPI sidecar amps hanging off the CS42L43 (they enumerate as spi-cs35l56-left/-right, driven by the cs35l56 driver, part 0x3563) — not SoundWire devices. The kernel only creates the cs42l43-cs35l56 bridge DAI that routes audio into these amps when the SOC_SDW_SIDECAR_AMPS quirk is set. That quirk is applied per-machine by the DMI table in sound/soc/intel/boards/sof_sdw.c, keyed on Dell DMI_PRODUCT_SKU. This machine's SKU 0E53 was missing from the table, so the quirk stayed off → bridge DAI never created → external amps silent → only the CS42L43 internal amp plays.

Fix: Add one DMI quirk entry for Dell SKU 0E53 → SOC_SDW_SIDECAR_AMPS. No ACPI match-table change and no new/custom topology file are required — the existing function-topology path (sof-sdca-*.tplg) handles the CS42L43 + sidecar card correctly.

Both amps load the Dell-tuned per-side firmware for subsystem 10280e53 and apply calibration; card registers cleanly; speaker output is full-range.

Env: kernel topic/sof-dev @ 4483fdf1f36c, tested on CachyOS linux-cachyos 7.1.3 (kernel ABI 3:23:1). CachyOS is a clang/LLVM build, so out-of-tree module builds need LLVM=1.
