Summary of Totals for Filtered Invoices
Description
In Billy’s invoice overview, the relevant invoices are displayed after applying a filter. However, there is currently no summary showing the total amounts of the filtered invoices.
A summary like this would be very helpful for quickly getting an overview of the financial amounts represented by the currently displayed invoices.
Proposal
After applying a filter, Billy should display a summary of the relevant totals in addition to the invoice list, for example:
- Total amount of all filtered invoices
- Total amount of paid invoices
- Total amount of unpaid/open invoices
- Total amount of overdue invoices
- Any other relevant statuses or categories
Example:
Filter: August 2026
12 invoices – Total: €4,850
🟢 Paid: €3,200
🟠 Open: €1,150
🔴 Overdue: €500
Benefits
This would make it possible to see at a glance how much money is represented by the currently filtered invoices, without having to manually add up the individual invoices.
This would be particularly useful when filtering by date range, customer, payment status, or other criteria, and would make it much easier to monitor overall revenue as well as outstanding and paid invoices.
Expected Behavior
The totals should automatically reflect the currently applied filters and update whenever a filter is changed, added, or removed.
