Running on MacOS

ParGenes also runs on MacOS, with the following limitation: the individual raxml-ng jobs do not parallelize over the sites. This is because raxml-ng does not support MPI on MacOS.

ParGenes still parallelizes over the starting trees, over the bootstrap trees and over the different MSA.

If you encounter any issue on MacOS, please report it.
