Biscuit started as a fork of Feather Wallet, which is about as good as a Monero wallet gets on a computer. We added everything we love: more cryptos next to Monero, each one optional, swaps between any two, atomic swaps with no exchange in the middle, Tor for the whole app, and lots of little details. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Monero, the way Feather does it: subaddresses, coin control, transaction proofs, view-only wallets, Ledger and Trezor, offline signing with QR codes, your own node.
- Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin: light wallets over Electrum servers (public ones or your own), several wallets per coin under one password, coin control, coin freezing, fee bumping (Bitcoin and Litecoin), silent payment sending (Bitcoin), signed messages.
- Ethereum, USDT and USDC, on Ethereum and on Arbitrum: the same 12 words as the other coins, fees shown in your currency, speed-up for a slow payment, several wallets and an address book; balances from public Ethereum nodes or your own, history from Blockscout or your own, all of it through Tor if you want.
- Solana (SOL): the address Phantom and Solflare show for the same 12 words, public Solana nodes or your own.
- Swaps: any pair of your coins through Trocador and exchanges Biscuit calls itself, offers from exchanges that ask for no identity checks, ranked only by what you receive. In Tor mode, through our onion address.
- Atomic swaps (beta): Bitcoin to Monero directly with a market maker, using the eigenwallet protocol. No exchange holds your coins along the way.
- Tor: built in, for every connection, or only for prices and news. On Tails and Whonix, Biscuit uses the system's Tor. In Tor mode, prices, the Journal and updates come from our onion service.
- No account, no analytics, no crash reports. Wallet files are encrypted with your password and stay on your computer.

Releases are built with Guix from the published source archive, so anyone can rebuild them and compare. The steps, and the two exceptions (the macOS signature, the atomic swap helper), are in Verifying your download.
See BUILD.md for a development build (CMake, Qt 6) and RELEASE.md for release builds.
Pull requests are welcome, especially small and focused ones: bug fixes, translations, documentation. We're a small team, so we can't promise when we'll review them, and for anything bigger please write to us first. Bug reports and questions: biscuitwallet@tutamail.com. Security issues: see SECURITY.md.
Please report vulnerabilities privately, as described in SECURITY.md. Nobody from Biscuit will ever ask for your seed, your password or your private keys.
Biscuit is made and looked after with a lot of love. If you've grown fond of it too, donations help us keep going. A star on this repository helps too: it is how other people find Biscuit on GitHub.
Biscuit stands on the work of others: Feather Wallet, The Monero Project, eigenwallet for atomic swaps, libwally-core for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Ethereum keys, libsodium for Solana's, Blockscout for Ethereum history, Trocador for exchange swaps, and Tor.
Biscuit is free software under the BSD 3-Clause License inherited from Feather Wallet and Monero, see LICENSE. Its atomic swap helper, biscuit-swapd, is under GPL-3.0; its source is published with every release.
