The description: in skills/clawrouter/SKILL.md is what an agent reads when deciding to load the skill. It carried stale and unbacked numbers.

Changes

  1. chore(brand): node scripts/sync-brand-numbers.mjs --refresh — the vendored brand-numbers.json was at 88 chat models, live https://blockrun.ai/brand/numbers.json is 90 (117 total). Marker rewrites only (README, CLAUDE.md, three docs, SKILL.md body).
  2. Frontmatter: 88 models -> 90 models, and the same in package.json description — both asserted by src/router/brand-numbers.test.ts.
  3. Frontmatter: 7 free open-weight models included -> Free open-weight models included (no guard covers that count there; markers are not inert in YAML).
  4. Frontmatter: removed the Surf clause (84 endpoints / 80+ ClickHouse tables / 100M+ wallets). Gateway GET /api/v1/surf/* returns 410 endpoint_retired (retired 2026-09-06). ClawRouter registers no Surf agent tools; it only forwards /v1/surf/*.

Savings 84% is unchanged and still matches savings.autoVsBaselinePct.

Not in this PR (stale, unguarded, flagged for follow-up): skills/surf/SKILL.md (whole skill targets the retired API), openclaw.plugin.json description (82 models, Surf), Surf proxy branch in src/proxy.ts, Surf mention in src/api-key.ts message.

Checks

  • node scripts/sync-brand-numbers.mjs --check: up to date
  • npx vitest run: 1221 passed, 1 skipped
  • prettier --check on touched files, npm run lint, npm run typecheck: clean

Summary by CodeRabbit

    • Clarified model visibility and catalog counts while retaining the documented seven free models.
    • Removed the Surf API from the feature description.
  • Metadata
    • Updated package and brand information to match the current model availability.

… models)

node scripts/sync-brand-numbers.mjs --refresh. Needed so the skill
frontmatter guard in src/router/brand-numbers.test.ts can assert the
current model count.
… and the untested free count

- 88 -> 90 models (skill frontmatter and package.json description), the
  values brand-numbers.test.ts asserts against the refreshed snapshot.
- "7 free open-weight models" -> "Free open-weight models": no guard
  covers that count in the frontmatter, and a marker cannot live there.
- Remove the Surf clause. The gateway's /api/v1/surf/* returns 410
  endpoint_retired (retired 2026-09-06); ClawRouter registers no Surf
  tools, it only forwards /v1/surf/* to that retired route.

📝 Walkthrough

The visible model counts changed from 88 to 90 in brand totals, package metadata, and project documentation. The skill description also removed the Surf unified crypto data API from its listed capabilities.

This update changes the published model counts. Some documentation still describes the retired Surf API, so agents and users who follow it get a 410 error. Some model counts may also be inaccurate or inconsistent. These are documentation accuracy issues with no runtime impact. Fixing them is a quick follow-up.

Replace the stale 55-model reference.

The setup warning still says that OpenClaw may show only “the 55 BlockRun models”. The surrounding documentation now uses the current catalog count. Update this hard-coded value or convert it to a brand-number marker.

Regenerate the snapshot from the stated live source.

The referenced catalog is marked measuredAt: 2026-10-02 and reports chatVisible: 88, totalVisible: 115, freeWithheld: 28, and withFallback: 28. This change records 90, 117, 27, and 29, so every propagated brand-number reference will advertise values that do not match the stated source of truth. (blockrun.ai)

Update the model-count diagram.

This line now states 90 models, but the diagram below still says 41+ AI Models and FREE (9 free). The page is internally inconsistent. Use the current marker values in the diagram or remove the hard-coded counts.

Remove the retired Surf documentation from the skill and README.

skills/clawrouter/SKILL.md still says that /v1/surf/* is whitelisted and documents Surf calls. README.md repeats this guidance and includes Surf request examples. Remove these sections and examples, or mark them as retired. The explicit 410 endpoint_retired response makes this a localized documentation failure, not a major availability issue.
