feat(partners): add Grey Ridge token-safety gate to Market data - #503
rezearcher wants to merge 3 commits into
Conversation
Adds a pre-swap token-safety verdict partner service for Base ERC-20 tokens (/gate/swap). Fills a gap in the Market data category: BlockRun's existing feeds give prices (crypto/fx/commodity) but no pre-trade 'is this token safe to swap' verdict — the check an autonomous trading agent needs before it signs. Live x402-on-Base endpoint (USDC, same rail as existing partners), $0.008/call, with a free no-payment preview for shape verification. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>

gateway mapping is registered before buildTool exposes it, routing /v1/gate/swap
to Grey Ridge’s /gate/swap endpoint and preserving the expected x402 challenge
response.

Thanks for the automated review flagging the gateway 404 — that's expected at this layer, and here's exactly why, plus the one server-side step to clear it. Why the 404 is expected (not a defect in this PR): the local proxy forwards every partner path to The one mapping to register server-side (gateway): Live proof the upstream already speaks x402 v2 (verified today): So once the gateway maps Happy to adjust the price, inputs, or path to match your partner conventions. If a flat per-call Market-data partner is the wrong shape for ClawRouter, tell me the shape you want and I'll reshape it. |
…ontract The /gate/swap tool returns decision=go|hold|block and a separate verdict=SAFE|CAUTION|AVOID, not go/caution/no-go or SAFE/RISKY. An agent reading the old description would mishandle a hold/block result. Describe the documented decision and verdict values exactly, and name the liquidity and price-impact fields the gate actually returns.

Add gate to the paid-route matcher.
The new tool emits /v1/gate/swap. In wallet mode, this path misses the paid-route branch. The API-key fallback does not apply, so the request reaches the final unsupported-endpoint handler and returns HTTP 404 without calling the gateway.

The Grey Ridge token-safety gate tool emits /v1/gate/swap. The wallet-mode paid-route matcher did not include the gate prefix, so the request fell past the paid branch and the api-key fallback to the unsupported-endpoint handler, returning HTTP 404 without ever reaching the gateway. Add gate to the prefix alternation so the tool reaches proxyPaidApiRequest in both wallet and api-key modes.
What
Adds one Market data partner service to
src/partners/registry.ts: a pre-swap token-safety gate for Base ERC-20 tokens (token_safety_gate→GET /gate/swap).Why this fills a real gap
The
Market datacategory today gives agents prices (crypto / fx / commodity). What a ClawRouter-driven trading agent is missing is the check it needs one step before the swap it's about to sign: "is this token safe to buy/sell?" — honeypot, buy/sell tax, mintable/pausable/blacklist admin controls, a 0–100 risk score, and a go / caution / no-go decision. That's a natural companion to DEX routing and crypto quotes, and it's exactly the kind of outcome your agents can't get from a price feed. It's already live on your exact rail
Grey Ridge runs this as a pay-per-call x402 API on Base — same settlement as your existing partners (USDC on Base, no account/key), so wiring is minimal:
Response shape:
{ decision, verdict, risk_score, flags[], token_meta, … }— see the free preview above.Scope of this PR
This change is additive data only — a single entry in the documented
PARTNER_SERVICESextension point ("New partners are added here — the rest of the system picks them up automatically"). No logic touched; it builds ablockrun_token_safety_gatetool via the existingbuildTool. The one step on your side (the part only you can do) is mapping the
/gate/swapproxy path to the Grey Ridge upstream (https://api.greyridgesignals.ai) on theblockrun.ai/apigateway, so the per-call x402 settles to the partner. Happy to adjust theid, pricing, params, orproxyPathto whatever fits your gateway's partner conventions — just say the word and I'll push the change.x402 manifest: https://api.greyridgesignals.ai/.well-known/x402 · contact: contact@greyridgesignals.ai
