Both payment-signing dependency bumps in one PR with one lockfile. Supersedes #536 and #539 (Dependabot, both failing CI) and #542 (my kit-only fix, folded in here).
Why the Dependabot PRs failed
build(deps): bump @x402/evm from 2.28.0 to 2.29.0 #536 bumped @x402/evm alone. evm 2.29 requires @x402/core ~2.29.0, so npm nested a second core and registerExactEvmScheme rejected our x402Client (two class types). This PR moves core, evm, fetch and svm together and adds an x402 Dependabot group.
@blockrun/llm declares @x402/core and @x402/svm as optional peers at ~2.28.0. With existing lock placements npm only warned, but a fresh resolve fails with ERESOLVE, so the next npm install would have broken. A scoped override ("@blockrun/llm": {"@x402/core": "$@x402/core", "@x402/svm": "$@x402/svm"}) points llm's peers at ours. npm ls is clean. Drop the override once blockrun-llm-ts widens its peer range.
Verification
Signing is byte-identical for main (x402 2.28 + kit 8.5) vs this PR (x402 2.29 + kit 8.6 + viem 2.57.13), on exact SVM v2, exact SVM v1 and exact EVM v2. Method: real scheme classes, fixed key, stubbed RPC, pinned randomness and clock. The harness can detect a difference: mutating the amount changes the hashes.
Lock: one install path for every @solana/* and @x402/* package. The only other changes are zod 3.25.76 → 4.6.7 (required by x402 2.29; nothing in src/ imports zod) and a nested undici-types (types only).
@x402/fetch 2.29: 402 bodies are now read with a 1 MiB cap. 2xx and streaming responses are untouched.

Walkthrough
The package manifest updates @solana/kit and four @x402 dependency ranges, adds two overrides under @blockrun/llm, and changes the description’s em dash to a Unicode escape. Dependabot adds a group for @x402/* packages.
Dependabot groups @x402/* packages. The manifest updates @solana/kit and four x402 dependency ranges, adds @x402/core and @x402/svm overrides under @blockrun/llm, and encodes the description’s em dash as a Unicode escape.
Some consumers may be unable to install the package with strict peer-dependency enforcement until @blockrun/llm publishes compatible peer ranges.

Align @blockrun/llm's optional x402 peer ranges in a follow-up release.
@blockrun/llm 3.24.4 declares ~2.28.0, while this package installs x402 2.29.0. Normal npm resolution can retain the single hoisted copy and report a peer warning, but a consumer using --strict-peer-deps can fail installation. The current lockfile does not show npm resolving a second x402 copy. Update @blockrun/llm's peer ranges in that package's next release; this is not a demonstrated typecheck or runtime failure in this PR.

Supersedes #536, which bumped @x402/evm alone. evm 2.29 requires
@x402/core ~2.29.0, so npm nested a second core under evm and every
x402Client handed to registerExactEvmScheme failed typecheck (two
distinct class types). Moving core/evm/fetch/svm together keeps one copy.
Verified:
- Signed payloads byte-identical 2.28 vs 2.29 for exact SVM v2, SVM v1
and EVM v2 (fixed key, stubbed RPC, pinned randomness/clock; harness
confirmed sensitive by mutating the amount).
- @x402/fetch 2.29 now reads 402 bodies with a 1 MiB cap; 2xx and
streaming bodies pass through untouched.
- typecheck, 1279 tests, build + smoke-dist (single @x402/core) pass.
@blockrun/llm declares @x402/core and @x402/svm as optional peers at
~2.28.0, so npm ls reports them invalid; the tree still holds one copy.
Also group @x402/* in dependabot.yml so the family arrives as one PR.
…402 peers
Folds #542 (kit 8.6.0) into this PR so the two payment-signing bumps
share one lockfile: @Solana lock entries re-resolved with npm 11, one
copy of every @Solana and @x402 package.
@blockrun/llm declares @x402/core and @x402/svm as optional peers at
~2.28.0. Reusing old lock placements hid that, but a fresh resolve
ERESOLVEs. A scoped override points llm's peers at our own
@x402/core/@x402/svm so any future npm install resolves; npm ls is
clean.
Verified: signed payloads byte-identical (x402 2.29 + kit 8.6 + viem
2.57.13 vs main's 2.28 + 8.5) for exact SVM v2/v1 and EVM v2; npm ci,
typecheck, 1284 tests, build + smoke-dist pass.

Why the Dependabot PRs failed
@x402/evmalone. evm 2.29 requires@x402/core ~2.29.0, so npm nested a second core andregisterExactEvmSchemerejected ourx402Client(two class types). This PR movescore, evm, fetchandsvmtogether and adds anx402Dependabot group.@solana/*(signers×2,transactions×3).smoke-distrejected it: duplicate signer packages sign malformed transactions. Here, the@solanalock entries are re-resolved with npm 11 (the deps: @solana/kit 5.5.1 → 8.4.0, one shared copy (+2.3% bundle, not +26%) #358 recipe).A third problem these surfaced
