Currently the code breaks if YAC is not installed. Generally the EBFM should also work in a uncoupled setup without YAC.

    Considering #20, there are two parts to this issue:

    • Allow installation of the package without YAC
    • Make sure the code can work without YAC

    I'll take care of both in a single PR based on #20.
