The output file was always Output/model_output.nc and a record was written every 8 time steps, which is daily only at the default PT3H. --output-file sets the path. --output-frequency takes an ISO 8601 duration (default P1D) that must be a multiple of --time-step, so the output interval no longer changes with the time step. @hauke-schmidt these are the options you asked for. Hope I got this right. This PR does not include the more flexible configuration of output fields (will go elsewhere). The MPI parallelization is not included here because #197 is still unmerged. Hope this is still sufficient for you to evaluate if it meets your requirements. |
