Industrial Craft 2: Community Reconstruction Edition (IC2CRE) is a community mod covering Minecraft 1.21.1 and 26.1.2. Based on Industrial Craft 2 for Minecraft 1.12.2 (2.8.222-ex112) as a reference, it reconstructs and adapts classic IC2 concepts and machine behavior to restore and improve the familiar industrial experience.
The project is under active development, covering resource processing, power generation and transmission, nuclear reactors, and electric equipment. Its in-game display name is IC2: Community Reconstruction Edition, and its mod ID is ic2cre.
Unofficial project: This mod is developed by community players. It is neither developed nor authorized by the IC2 Dev Team and is not an official IC2 release.
The project provides a separate information branch for each Minecraft version. The release information repository and the source repository have different addresses. Use the links below for version-specific introductions, release notes, and download guidance.

IC2CRE uses its own energy system. Energy Core is not a required dependency. Match the Minecraft, NeoForge, and Java versions above and read the notes for the version you download.

These add-ons extend IC2CRE and require the main mod. Check the corresponding release notes when choosing versions.

Free project and information channels: This project is free of charge and has no discussion groups or chat channels. Project information is published only in this repository and on its release page. Beware of impersonation, payment requests, and false announcements.
- If IC2 becomes active again and continues releasing updates for newer Minecraft versions, this project will stop receiving updates and fixes, and the repository will be archived.
