Display and select records in runtime cursor grids
Runtime Grid currently renders empty cells without consulting RecordSource.
Read bounded snapshots of unbuffered in-memory aliases, map simple column fields,
and let mouse clicks or Up/Down/Home/End move the bound cursor's physical record.
Form actions can then read the selected record. Preview alone preserves the work
area and pointer; selection deliberately changes them without host file writes.
Dispatch Before/AfterRowColChange around navigation and respect NODEFAULT and
Valid/When rejection. Generation tokens reject requests for recreated aliases.
When rejection restores the previous visible record; this does not implement
VFP's full alternate-focus search. Cell editing, full child focus/click behavior,
expressions, host tables, filters and indexes remain separate work. The UI and
docs describe the bounds: 200 rows, 128 fields, 512 characters per cell.
Validation on macOS ARM64: selection regression fails before implementation;
4 grid Rust tests, 31 data-engine tests and 28 renderer/WASM/sample tests pass.
WASM, typecheck, lint and application build pass. Native Windows VFP comparison
not performed. Public fixtures are synthetic. Developed with AI assistance.
