LumaKey intentionally supports only the Acer ALG AL15G-53 with the CLV0001
ACPI device. The installer checks both identifiers and refuses to continue on
other machines. Please do not bypass these checks or test undocumented ACPI
methods: firmware calls can have effects that the operating system cannot
undo.
Please use GitHub's private security-advisory feature for vulnerabilities that could expose screen content, cross a privilege boundary, or write unsafe data to the keyboard firmware. Do not put access tokens, serial numbers, full ACPI dumps, screenshots, or other personal information in a public issue.
For ordinary bugs, open a GitHub issue with the LumaKey version, Fedora and kernel versions, and a minimal description of what happened. Screen Sync frames are processed locally and discarded; a report should never need an actual captured frame.
This is an independent community project, not an Acer support channel.
