Ordered 2026-09-08: an HP ProDesk 600 G4 Micro with the same i5-8500T and 32 GB as morpheus, a 512 GB SSD where morpheus has 1 TB. Same model is the point — pfSense stores interface assignments by device name, so identical hardware restores straight through. It still needs its own USB NIC for the switch-management LAN. Closing unmerged. This PR recorded the ProDesk bought on 2026-09-08 as the cold spare for #92, on my inference from the model match rather than on what the purchase was for. It was also the only ProDesk purchase anyone had been told to make, and the sensitive tier's host — a separate box per ADR-0008 — had no issue and no place in the README's shopping sentence. ADR-0034 decides the box is the sensitive-tier host, rehearsed on first as the firewall spare; the follow-up PR carries the roadmap and README text this one would have. 🤖 Generated with Claude Code |
