The embedded homepage video could remain paused on first load because its visibility state depended on an IntersectionObserver callback that did not always arrive. Compute viewport visibility immediately and refresh it on load, scroll, resize, and tab visibility changes so the silent loop starts when it appears.
The existing pause/resume control, reduced-motion preference, offscreen pause, and playback-error fallback remain supported.
Validation on 8b9fb5e: website build and typecheck passed; dead-code check passed; exact-candidate product gate passed with $0 provider cost. Rendered Chromium checks passed automatic startup without a gesture at 1440, 593, 390, and 320 pixels. WebKit passed using the existing small play fallback where its test-browser policy blocks autoplay. Keyboard controls, looping, reduced motion, no-JavaScript controls, retry, and all seven requested removals passed.
