docs: correct claims that no longer match the code - #34
Conversation
docs/architecture.md: - "destination: hive" does not make the client route upstream. Nothing branches on it; HiveMessageBusClient.emit sends every BUS message upstream. docs/usage.md, docs/configuration.md: - piped input does not terminate cleanly. The reader loop is "while True: input()" with no EOFError handling, so EOF ends in a traceback. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Do not claim that all responses are written at EOF.
hivemind_cli_terminal.__init__.py handles incoming speak messages in a separate event-loop thread. The while True: input() loop exits on EOFError without waiting for in-flight responses. A pipe can close before the final response is written. State that only responses received before termination are retained, or add a drain step before documenting the output as complete.

Part of an ecosystem-wide documentation accuracy pass. Five audit passes cross-checked every documented claim against freshly-synced
devsource; this branch carries the corrections for this repo. Each fix cites the source that disproves the old wording. Two findings turned out to be code bugs rather than doc bugs, and are reported separately rather than papered over here:
pongframe using wire code 13, which is unassigned in the reference_INT2TYPE, so a reference decoder rejects it;emit_intercomsends a hybrid envelope (encrypted_key/ciphertext/tag/nonce) while hivemind-core RSA-decrypts theciphertextfield directly, so an INTERCOM addressed to the hub itself cannot be decrypted. Peer-to-peer INTERCOM relayed through the hub is unaffected.Summary by CodeRabbit
