Part of an ecosystem-wide documentation accuracy pass. Five audit passes cross-checked every documented claim against freshly-synced dev source; this branch carries the corrections for this repo. Each fix cites the source that disproves the old wording.

Two findings turned out to be code bugs rather than doc bugs, and are reported separately rather than papered over here:

  • the MicroPython client answers PING with a pong frame using wire code 13, which is unassigned in the reference _INT2TYPE, so a reference decoder rejects it;
  • emit_intercom sends a hybrid envelope (encrypted_key/ciphertext/tag/nonce) while hivemind-core RSA-decrypts the ciphertext field directly, so an INTERCOM addressed to the hub itself cannot be decrypted. Peer-to-peer INTERCOM relayed through the hub is unaffected.

docs/index.md:
- drop the stale file.py:NN anchors and the "Line" table columns; cite the
  symbol and flag names instead.

FAQ.md:
- drop the stale file.py:NN anchors.
- the PING answer is a responsive ping carrying the same flood_id. Record the
  known bug: _dispatch_message replies with msg_type "pong" (MSG_PONG = 13),
a code that is unassigned in the reference _INT2TYPE map and has no
HiveMessageType member, so a reference decoder rejects the frame.

Warning

Review limit reached

@JarbasAl, you've reached your PR review limit, so we couldn't start this review.

Next review available in: 27 minutes

Enable usage-based reviews in Billing to review now. Otherwise, wait until the next included review is available.
You're only billed for reviews past your plan's rate limits ($0.25/file).

How can I continue?

After more reviews become available, a review can be triggered using the @coderabbitai review command as a PR comment. Alternatively, push new commits to this PR.

To avoid repeated limits, reduce automatic review volume by pausing incremental auto-reviews earlier, using label-based review opt-in, excluding WIP or generated PR titles, or requesting reviews manually when the PR is ready. If your team needs uninterrupted high-volume reviews, an organization admin can enable usage-based reviews.

How do review limits work?

CodeRabbit enforces per-developer PR review limits for each organization. Most developers receive the normal plan review availability.

For paid Pro and Pro+ PR reviews, CodeRabbit uses adaptive limits for sustained high-volume activity. When a developer's recent PR review activity reaches the 95th percentile or higher among CodeRabbit users, additional reviews become available more gradually as earlier reviews age out of the rolling window.

Please refer docs for additional details.
