Atomic v5.2

Choose a tag to compare

@severdia severdia released this 03 Apr 12:05

Improvements and fixes for the Atomic template, including:

  • Updated error page
  • Updated offline page
  • Improvements to component page
  • Improvements to lazy loading of assets
  • Adding system font stack option
  • Improved favicons
  • Improved accessibility
  • Improved language support
  • New theme switcher transitions
  • Fixed small CS and JS bugs

Atomic was originally included with Joomla 2.5 and has always intended to be an easy to use and flexible template "framework" to base your sites on. My goal was to use the same template for multiple sites that all look and work completely different so it has to be versatile.

And in the repo is now a "Joomla Reset" component you can use when testing your Joomla site. Its sole purpose is to reset your Joomla site without having to reinstall Joomla. It keeps your admin account intact, but removes all content, menu items, etc. Very helpful when iterating while developing an extension.
