Preserve publication provenance and media metadata during ingestion. Reporter, editor and original source no longer collapse into a single author string; explicit author metadata still takes precedence. Image alt/title/caption and supplied attachment filenames/source URLs now travel with each immutable revision and participate in revision hashing.
The server companion adds revision-scoped columns and renders this metadata in news details. Missing source dictionaries and notice deadlines/audiences are not inferred.
Validation: 464 pytest tests and 28 subtests pass, including source attribution, image metadata transport and caption changes affecting revision hashes. Ruff passes.
