Typesetting cancellation of units

I know that there exists a method cancel that could be used to typeset the cancellation of units. However, when using cancel, the whole argument is crossed through.

How would I cancel the unit "kg" in the expression

#kg[50,0] dot.c #N-kg[9,81]

when #kg and #N-kg are appropriately defined using the zero package?

There is currently no built-in mechanism for adding unit cancellations in Zero. In principle, you can use the advanced unit construction method as described in the readme to manually wrap the kg in a cancel command, like

#zi.declare("N", ($cancel(kg)$, -1))

I'm open to adding a parameter that can be used to specify which parts to cancel in a unit. Currently I have no idea how addressing certain base units should look like though.
