Native sprite players can now receive typed binary frames alongside welcome and terminal text. Binary payloads preserve invalid UTF-8 bytes. Existing text APIs still reject binary frames and invalid text.
The transport retains its absolute deadlines, global stop, partial-buffer resumption, serialized writer ownership, and explicit socket cleanup. The new message kind remains unobserved for non-message results.
Official Nim 2.2.4 remote CPU gates passed the existing WebSocket lifecycle/TLS/backpressure/worker-storage suite plus mixed text/binary/terminal, text rejection, partial binary timeout resumption, and both SIGTERM/SIGINT cleanup cases. No provider or GPU calls.
Source-only helper pass. Notsus integration, game/controller parity, images, authenticated receipts, certification, releases, and strength remain separate gates.
