A generic list of nice-to-have features, in no particular order

• ssh-agent forwarding SSH agent forwarding into local and remote devcontainers #5
• devcontainer over ssh (partial support, see exec-chaining: devcontainer on remote ssh #2)
• install extra extensions after server install is complete --install-extensions during server install makes them "built-in" and uninstallable #7
• settings.json merge {...remoteWorkspace, ...remoteMachine, ...local}
  • side-effect: right now, default extensions must be set on remote for it to work
• support for more schema keys
  • features
  • portsAttributes
  • customizations.vscode.settings
  • shutdownAction (parsed but not enforced)
  • hostRequirements
  • waitFor
• .gitconfig copy
  • with worktree mount support?
• installScript.sh: sh compatibility
• rebuild from one window should not race with other open windows.
  • Add lockfile. Other windows should ideally stream the same log instead of just hanging or failing to connect
• Per-workspace podman/docker args
• Build devcontainer without opening in remote. Useful to debug build issues
• Test with non-native arch
• Attach to existing containers (also ties into stdio/stdout exec streaming for everything)
  • Maybe integrate with ms-azuretools.vscode-containers for extra context-menu options (Say attach, open shell...)?
• Some sort of windows support?
• apple containers support?
