   After further discussion, we decided to only use drop-ins, in this manner, only for OpenCHAMI services which do not yet have dedicated config files.

   Even when that's the case, they are to be heavily documented in the style of:
   https://github.com/OpenCHAMI/metadata-service/blob/main/config.example.yaml

   Closing this issue task since it's no longer relevant.
