KB still requires a configured embedding provider. Graph/SQL/Skills/Memory do

# Changelog

## 2.1.0

- Add opt-in incremental Workspace storage: shared immutable source objects,
source-scoped indexed SQLite graph assertions, LanceDB versions and Dolt commits.
- Add latest/recent/all retention, protected revisions, durable operation leases,
preview/apply GC and native provider compaction. New workspaces default to latest;
existing histories default to all. Publication and historical reads stay consistent.
- Add explicit frozen-evidence migration, CLI/HTTP/UI/MCP policy controls and
ingestion/retrieval Skill updates. Unchanged sources, embeddings and tables are reused.
- Add real provider, failed-build, process-death, rollback ABA and cross-call lease tests.

## 2.0.0 — Unified Codex host

- CLI, HTTP and browser UI now use one official Codex SDK host for reads and writes.

Before the first publication, reads can inspect independent live stores.
Independent direct writes do not silently update published snapshots.

product paths were removed in 2.0. Use [the migration guide](docs/LEGACY_RUNTIME.md)
