1.7.10 branch

In order to compile this version, you have to compile and install the latest snapshot version for 1.7.10-R0.1 of the Bukkit-API in your local Maven cache first. This is necessary, because the required pre-compiled jar of the Bukkit-API is not availble on the repository used by Maven.
Just checkout the current master branch of the Bukkit-API and compile it with mvn clean install, in order to add the required jar file to the local Maven cache. Then compile the v1.7.10 branch of MinetickMod with mvn clean package.

Thanks but its showing Bukkit as 1.7.2 which is causing plugins to not work correctly, is there a fix for this?

Did you switch to the right branch before starting to compile, with

1. git checkout v1.7.10 and
2. git pull origin v1.7.10 ?
   If it shows up as a different version, it would be 1.7.9, but not 1.7.2. The /version command prints:
   This server is running CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.7.9-R0.2-141-g678933d (MC: 1.7.10) (Implementing API version 1.7.10-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)

I had a friend compile it for me, since hes a programmer and knows how to do that stuff.
I guess he did it wrong?

He is probably just not aware that I manage the different server versions in separate branches. As this is not the usual way to do things, or rather nobody usual keeps developing for old version but the just the latest one in the main branch.

In case you need to recompile some plugin for 1.7.10 you'd need the api (bukkit...jar) too, otherwise just the server (minetickmod....jar)
