This repository distributes binaries and installation scripts for qmax-code, the QualityMax QA-focused terminal agent. Development, feature documentation, and contribution instructions live in the source repository.
Follow the source repository's maintained installation instructions, or download the archive for your operating system and architecture from the latest release assets.
Release assets cover macOS, Linux, and Windows on supported Intel/AMD and ARM architectures. Check the selected release's asset list before downloading. Release notes and available assets are authoritative; this page does not duplicate a version number or tool count.
- Standalone: work with local repositories using supported providers or coding agents, without a QualityMax account. Follow the source README's standalone setup.
- Connected: authenticate to a QualityMax workspace for supported project and hosted testing workflows. Follow the CLI quickstart.
Model providers, coding-agent subscriptions, and hosted services have their own requirements and costs. Features marked experimental in the source documentation are not necessarily exposed by default.
The separate qmax local agent provides CLI and local execution workflows; qmax-code is the AI terminal agent.
Report source and application issues in qmax-code. For missing or incorrect distribution assets, use this repository's issue tracker.
qmax-code v1.38.0 and later are open source under Apache License 2.0. Read the release announcement. Earlier release artifacts retain their original license terms. Third-party dependencies retain their own licenses; new release archives include those notices. Other QualityMax tools use their own licenses; see the tool directory.
