The pickers used across the app load only the first page of a list (100 rows in the Create job dialog's EntitySelect, the default page in EntityPicker) and have no search. In a project with more capture sets, stations, taxa lists or classifiers than that, the rest cannot be chosen.
One searchable picker that pages through the list endpoint with ?search= (and accepts list filters such as task_type) would replace both components, so every picker in the app behaves the same.
