Summary

A GitHub Actions workflow runs the checks CONTRIBUTING.md asks for, on every pull request and every push to master:

  • uv sync --all-extras --locked: fails if uv.lock is out of date with pyproject.toml
  • ruff check, ruff format --check, ty check, pytest
  • uv build

It runs on Python 3.13 and 3.14, with fail-fast off so one version's failure doesn't hide the other's. It needs only read permissions and no secrets, so pull requests from forks run it too.

Actions: actions/checkout@v7 and astral-sh/setup-uv@v10.3.2, the latest releases (setup-uv publishes no major tag, so it's pinned exactly).

Publishing to PyPI stays manual.

Checks

Every step run locally from a clean worktree on 3.13 and 3.14: all clean, 229 tests passing on each, and the package builds.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Every pull request and every push to master runs ruff check, ruff format
--check, ty check, pytest and uv build on Python 3.13 and 3.14, against the
locked dependencies.
