Open Fanfic-Viewer.
Upload your story: Drag and drop your .md or .txt file onto the page.
Style: Click the ⚙️ icon to open the Custom Panel:
- Select "Custom" from the theme dropdown.
- Upload an image or MP4 to the Custom BG slot.
- Adjust colors to your liking and hit Save Colors.

For Best Performance: Use MP4 videos instead of GIFs for backgrounds. They use significantly less CPU and look much smoother.
Saving: On PC, static images stay saved. On Mobile, the IndexedDB upgrade allows even large images to persist between sessions.
Focus Mode: Click the "New File" button in the header to quickly swap stories without refreshing the page.
