IT engineer (B.Sc. in multimedia and internet technologies), currently doing a Master's in IT with a specialization in Data Science. I build small, focused tools, mostly for the terminal and my own Linux setup (Arch + Hyprland), and I enjoy low-level code as much as backend and web work. Open to my first full-time role as a developer.
Languages: Java · Python · JavaScript / TypeScript · C · C++ · Lua · Bash · x86-64 Assembly
Backend: Spring Boot · JPA / Hibernate · REST APIs · MySQL · SQL Server
Data: Data analysis and visualization in Python · SQL reporting
Frontend: Vue.js · Tailwind CSS · Firebase · Node.js
Tools: Linux · Git · Docker · Selenium · CMake · Maven
Other: Linux system administration · Project management
- IT work at a local government office: Bash scripts automating backups and server file cleanup, SQL views and reports for the office's departments, Python analysis and visualizations of municipal registry data for management, and log monitoring scripts that detect and report anomalies.
- First-line technical support at a radio station: diagnosing hardware and software issues, administering operating systems and network infrastructure. Built two Python tools used there daily: a news aggregation service and a desktop radio player app.
- A remotely controlled boat for collecting waste from enclosed water bodies, built by a small team from concept to water testing; awarded at a national technical innovation olympiad.
- A web portal with a 360° virtual walk through a historic site, preserving local stories; awarded as one of the best social projects in a national competition.
Outside of code: dubbing, psychology, tabletop RPGs and cycling (with way too much heart rate data from my watch).
