Adds 40 extra outfit colours and 90 extra weapon-paint colours already shipped with Star Wars: Zero Company to the normal customization pickers.
- Adds Oil Black.
- Adds variants
02,13, and16across Amber, Aqua, Blue, Green, Indigo, Lime, Orange, Purple, Red, Vermilion, Violet, and Yellow. - Adds Neutral Grey
02,06, and10. - Adds all 90 weapon-compatible colours that the game marks
AuthoredOnly, including Oil Black, Clone White, Nutmeg Black, browns, indigos, warm and cool greys, and additional numbered hue variants. - Gives every added outfit and weapon entry a distinct, UI-only label such as
Amber 02,Amber 13, andAmber 16, instead of repeating the stock family name. - Uses the game's shipped colour definitions and normal picker. There are no extracted game assets, replacement textures, save editor, console, or keybinds.
- Leaves each outfit and weapon's authored material, metallic response, roughness, and wear unchanged.
- Includes the four build-specific UE4SS signature overrides needed for the game's Patch 1.1 move to Unreal Engine 5.6.
Developer-test outfit colours, character-specific Slugrat colours, and the duplicate outfit Clone White entry remain deliberately excluded. Weapon-paint entries are restricted to the weapon picker and are not injected into Astromech or outfit selectors.
- Star Wars: Zero Company on Steam, build
25134257(Patch 1.1). - UE4SS for Zero Company.
The mod checks the executable build and the exact native hook targets. It disables itself rather than guessing if either does not match.
The archive also installs Patch 1.1 loader signatures under
ue4ss\UE4SS_Signatures. Without these, UE4SS 3.0.1 can resolve the game's
object array 0x60 bytes late and remain stuck at Waiting for object construction before any C++ mod is initialized.
-
Quit the game.
-
Set UE4SS up in
<game>\SWZeroCompany\Binaries\Win64(its own page covers that). -
Drop the ZIP's contents into that same
Win64folder. You should land at:...\ue4ss\Mods\ExpandedColours\dlls\main.dll -
Launch. The bundled
enabled.txtturns the mod on automatically.
Open the normal character-customization wardrobe and select an outfit colour
slot, or open a weapon's paint-colour picker. The additional entries appear in
the relevant stock picker and use distinct numbered variant names. Oil Black
is labelled Oil Black in both libraries.
The labels exist only on the generated picker view models. Underlying asset identifiers, equipped colour references, and stock colour definitions are not renamed.
- Version 1.2.0 supports only Steam build
25134257. A game update will probably require a newly verified release. - Install, update, disable, or remove the mod only while the game is closed. Do not hot-unload or hot-reload its native DLL in a running UE4SS session.
- A colour's appearance can vary between outfit materials and lighting because this mod deliberately preserves the game's authored surface response.
- The distinct picker labels are English in version 1.2.0.
- Do not combine this release with an older preview mod that injects the same hidden colour definitions. The refactored Mando Wardrobe build tested with Expanded Colours no longer owns colour-catalogue entries.
Quit the game and delete:
...\ue4ss\Mods\ExpandedColours
The release contains no extracted game assets and does not directly edit save files.
The four files under ue4ss\UE4SS_Signatures are shared Patch 1.1 loader
compatibility files. Leave them installed if other native mods rely on UE4SS;
they are not part of the Expanded Colours mod directory itself.
