About Me:

I'm Nazanin Ahmadi, Computer engineering student of Isfahan University of Technology.

Project Overview:

This project was developed for the Computer Networks Laboratory course at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT). Its main goal was to design and configure a complete network topology in Cisco Packet Tracer, incorporating most of the networking concepts covered throughout the semester.

Implemented Features:

  • Configured EIGRP routing protocol

  • Implemented HSRP for redundancy

  • Set up routing redistribution between protocols

  • Configured NAT and PAT

  • Server configurations:

    • DHCP Server
    • DNS Server
    • Web Server
    • Mail Server
  • Configured EtherChannel

  • Enabled SSH on selected devices

  • Dynamic IP assignment via DHCP

  • Disabled unused switch ports and assigned them to a VLAN named BlackHole

  • Tested full connectivity between all PCs (Ping tests)

  • Applied access restrictions for the University section

  • Tested Cloudflare connectivity (inside vs outside network)

Project Objective: The goal of this project was to simulate a real-world enterprise network and gain practical experience with routing protocols, redundancy mechanisms, and network security. Through this project, I strengthened my understanding of routers, switches, and advanced networking configurations.
