Summary

  • Add fractional-second precision tests to the existing temporal engine test suite.
  • Verify compareInstants ordering and equivalence for fractional timestamps.
  • Verify utcToLocal formatting with fractional seconds.
  • Test isDeadlineReached immediately before, exactly at, and immediately after the deadline.
  • Verify utcToDatetimeLocalInput handles fractional timestamps correctly.

Context

The originally referenced time-monotonic files are not present on the current main branch, so these tests extend the existing tests/temporal-engine.test.ts suite using the available time utilities.

Testing

  • npm.cmd test
  • git diff --check

Typecheck and lint were also run locally.

Resolves #489
