MaCoPlanner is research software for symbolic task planning and optional robot adaptation. It is not a certified industrial safety system and must not directly control energized equipment or safety-critical machinery without independent engineering controls and qualified supervision.
The execution CLI is dry-run by default. Never set calibrated: true or use --live until robot
poses, tool orientation, offsets, camera ROIs, workspace limits, collision behavior, emergency stops,
and plant interlocks have been validated on the exact installation. Keep local calibration files out
of issues and commits.
Do not include API keys in issues, logs, task files, or screenshots. Report credential exposure, unsafe acceptance of a known-invalid plan, action-schema bypasses, or dependency vulnerabilities privately to the corresponding author listed in the associated paper. Include the affected version, device profile, minimal reproduction, and expected rejection behavior.
Until a report is resolved, isolate the planner from physical actuation and revoke any exposed key. For a live-motion incident, stop the robot using the manufacturer's documented safety mechanism; do not depend on this Python process as an emergency stop.
