Would be awesome if the server admins could configure it to use a GriefPrevention subclaim instead of a shop selection, this would enforce players to create shops only where they have claimed, and the claims would be visualized using WorldEdit CUI

I was wondering if there was any progress on this? We are looking to add shops to 2 of our servers but both servers have "market areas" for shops to be in rather than players just doing shops wherever. Being able to force into GriefPrevention SubDivisions would be AWESOME!

Haven't forgotten about this. There were rumblings of Sponge having an official region API to interface with plugins like GreifPrevention and FoxGuard, wanted to wait and see if that would materialize before implementing this.
