Summary / 摘要

Before: the sections of the showcase site (play, features, creators) never said that Covel is plugin-driven, and the copy read flat.

After: the hero keeps "Build your own" (构建由你定义的) and swaps the last words in place between visual novel, tabletop campaign, epic story and multilingual world. Each word arrives letter by letter: the new letters rise in while the old ones blur away. The subtitle, the mode colour, the screenshot and a list of the 18 bundled plugins change with it, and the list lights up the plugins that mode runs. The modes rotate every 3.6 seconds; tabs pick one by hand, hovering pauses the rotation, and reduced motion turns the timer off. Below the hero, two cards cover the plugin design and world packs, and a "Built-in plugins" section lists eight plugins with their IDs.

The lit plugin sets are copied from the packs that ship in the repo: haruka-galgame, classic-tabletop and traditional-story. They leave out the setup plugins every session runs. A test checks that every plugin the site names exists under plugins/.

How:

  • Hero.tsx owns the active mode and sets data-mode on the section. CSS maps that to a --mode colour, which the word, glow, tab underline and plugin chips all read.
  • Showcase.tsx renders the crossfading scenes and the plugin list.
  • packs.ts holds the plugin sets.
  • Play, Features and Creators are removed.

Type of change / 变更类型

  • New feature / 新功能 (feat)

Verification / 验证方式

  • pnpm check
  • Tests of the changed packages: pnpm --filter @covel/site lint and test (12 tests, including the rotation and the lit plugin counts with fake timers)
  • pnpm test: not run; this PR touches only apps/site, which nothing else depends on
  • Manual check / 手动验证: in Chromium at 1440×900 (dark and light) and at 390×844, watched the auto rotation, clicked the tabs, and checked the transition frames.

Not verified / 未验证: Safari, Firefox, and a real phone. The demo video under apps/site/public/media/ is no longer shown on the page.

The hero now leads with "Everything is pluggable. Every world is yours."
Four feature chapters scroll beside a sticky panel that swaps scenes and
lights up the plugins each mode runs, copied from the bundled packs. A
new section lists the built-in plugins with their IDs.

The headline keeps "Build your own" and swaps the last words letter by
letter between visual novel, tabletop campaign, epic story and
multilingual world. Each swap carries the subtitle, the mode colour, the
screenshot and the lit plugins with it; tabs pick a mode by hand, and
reduced motion stops the timer. The four scroll chapters fold into the
hero plus two cards for plugins and world packs.
